about

This piece takes us to
the ancient Mesopotamian
civilization. While now
Iraq is in ruins, it used to
be a symbol of refinement
and culture. The
atmosphere of this piece,
composed especially for the
album, combines nostalgia
for the past with happiness
and sadness. Ali started
taking classes in a music
institute in Baghdad,
against the will of his
father, but thanks to the
persuasion of his mother.
He continued his education
in Egypt, where his
musical career really took
off. Since his arrival in
Belgium he has continued
to work as a musician,
despite the hard living
conditions for artists.
