about

This love poem is
dedicated to a young
woman. The author
praises her long curly
hair, her smell of flowers,
the beauty of her name,
and offers her his body
and soul, for he is madly
in love with her. Aman’s
destiny is reflected in
this text: he was actually
asked to write an ode
to a young woman.
Unfortunately, she was
married to a war veteran,
who heard the song and
swore that he would kill
its author. Aman fled
from Afghanistan and
left his family behind.
He recently met Majid,
who was born in Iran
and plays the Afghan
tabla; he had to leave
his country because of
his relationship and his
passion for music, both
frowned upon by his
relatives.
